Eye Tranfser SsytemsZYGO Eye Transfer Communication Systems have valuable applications as:

  • Fundamental assessment tools to determine communication potential.
  • Simple, inexpensive training aids for someone who may eventually use more complex devices.
  • Personal communication systems for those with no discernible physical ability to use manual pointing boards or operate controls for electronic devices.
  • Alternate 'no care' classroom aids where a user's primary system may not always be mobile, fast or convenient enough for certain academic activities, or where too many different devices preclude group interaction or individual instruction.
  • Information transfer devices for temporarily non-communicative persons in hospital emergency and recovery rooms and intensive care units; especially in major metro areas where patient's own national languages are not readily known.
  • Readily available back-up systems when other systems are being recharged, repaired, or are inappropriate to a setting (e.g. swimming pool, floor mat therapy, etc.).

Each ZYGO Eye Transfer Communication System consists of a transparent display panel to which symbols, pictures, words/phrases. alpha-numerics, etc. may be applied. This panel is supported within one of three fully adjustable mounting bases. Adjustment capabilities accommodate the physical comfort needs of the user and keep the system completely autonomous, allowing the message recipient(s) total freedom to write down messages and otherwise attend to the user (e.g. feeding, drool control, etc.).

The Manual clearly illustrates three of the most powerful, unambiguous message display and gazing selection techniques we have found to date.
